1. Who we are
This website is operated by Guangdong WEIDEYA Technology Co., Ltd., registered at No.10 Chuangxing Rd, Deqing Industrial Transfer Park, Deqing, Zhaoqing, Guangdong, China. We manufacture damping and motion-control products; the site exists to present our products and capabilities and to receive customer enquiries.
2. What we collect
Information you provide. When you complete the enquiry form: your name, company, email, WhatsApp or phone number, country or region, product of interest, estimated annual volume and requirement description. Name and email are required; the rest are optional.
Important: the form does not store data on this website's server. When you press submit, an email draft addressed to sales@weideya.tech is composed on your own device and is sent only after you confirm it in your mail client. Until then nothing leaves your device; our receipt of the information begins with the email you send. Processing after that happens in our business mailbox, not on this website.
What we do not collect. No account registration, no payment information, and no browsing behaviour collected for advertising.
3. How we use it
Only for these purposes: replying to your enquiry, technical discussion on selection and samples, issuing quotations and datasheets, and — once you are a customer — performing the contract and providing after-sales support. We do not sell, rent or pass your information to unrelated third parties for their own marketing.
The legal bases are the pre-contractual communication necessary at your request, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
4. Cookies and third parties
This site currently sets no cookies and does not use local storage to track you. Two preferences — colour theme and language — are stored in your browser's localStorage solely so the site looks the same on your next visit. This data is never sent to our servers and can be removed at any time by clearing your browser data.
Third-party resources. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which issues a request to Google's servers that may log your IP address. Where local rules require it, we recommend and plan to self-host the fonts, removing this external request entirely. Beyond that, the site loads no third-party scripts, advertising or social plugins.
Analytics. No analytics tool is installed at present. If one is added, this section will state which tool and what it collects, and consent will be obtained first where required.
5. Storage and security
Enquiry emails you send are stored in our business mailbox, accessible only to staff handling customer communication. We apply reasonable organisational and technical measures, including access control and appropriate security settings. Please note that information transmitted by email has inherent security limitations.
For cross-border business communication, enquiry information is used within the scope necessary to handle the order, in communication with overseas customers or agents.
6. Retention
Enquiries that do not lead to business are kept for 24 months so that earlier correspondence can be retrieved if you come back; if you ask us to delete them within that period we do so immediately. Records relating to completed business are kept for the period required by contract and applicable law, including tax and export requirements.
7. Your rights
To the extent granted by applicable law, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you may exercise the following rights:
- Access: confirm whether we hold your personal data and obtain a copy.
- Rectification: have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
- Erasure: ask us to delete your personal data.
- Restriction: ask us to stop processing in defined circumstances.
- Objection: object where processing relies on legitimate interests.
- Portability: receive the information you provided in a structured, common format.
To exercise these rights, email us at the address below; we will respond within the period required by applicable law. If you believe our handling is improper, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page is updated, and material changes affecting your rights are highlighted.
9. Contact
For questions about this policy or the handling of personal data, contact sales@weideya.tech, or write to: Guangdong WEIDEYA Technology Co., Ltd., No.10 Chuangxing Rd, Deqing Industrial Transfer Park, Deqing, Zhaoqing, Guangdong, China.
